Defence Command Denmark
Defence Command Denmark is the supreme military command authority of the Armed Forces. Together with the four other authorities, for Personnel, for Material & Equipment, for Buildings & Facilities and for Finance, it forms the Danish Defence.
The Chief of Defence is the commander of Defence Command Denmark and acts as the Chief Military Advisor for the Minister of Defence.
Through the Defence Command, the Chief of Defence commands the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
The Defence Command holds a Joint Operations Staff, a Plans and Capability Staff, the Joint Arctic Command, the Special Operations Command and three service staffs i.e. the Army Command, the Navy Command and the Air Command.
