Defence Command Organisation
The Chief of Defence is the Commander-in-Chief of the Danish Armed Forces and also the commander of the Defence Command.
Through the Defence Command, the Chief of Defence commands the Army, the Navy and the Air Force.
The Defence Command holds a Joint Operations Staff, a Plans and Capability Staff, the Joint Arctic Command, the Special Operations Command and three service staffs i.e. the Army Command, the Navy Command and the Air Command.
